I am so honored that I was asked to be a part of
the Creative Blog Tour by my friend Connie over at http://www.conniecancrop.blogspot.com What
a wonderful way to get to know each other better.
Connie and I have become friends through blog hops we have been in together. She is one of the best crafters I know! She is very talented and shares so much inspiration on her awesome blog! Please go and check out her awesome blog!
We were given a few questions to answer about our crafting style and what crafting means to us. I will give it my best shot, HERE WE GO,
1. What am I working on?
I am currently working on cards for up coming blog hops and card swaps. I also have three birthdays in my family next month. My wonderful husband, my adorable nephew and my husband's favorite aunt who I adore!
2. How does my work differ from others of it's genre?
I am not sure it is much different from other card makers, but I do like to stamp images that I can color. I love coloring, It is so relaxing and keeps my mind off the pain I have from a chronic pain condition called Fibromyalgia. I know a lot of card makers hate coloring, because it is time consuming and they sometimes want quick and wonderful cards. Here are some samples of my style of cards,
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
I make cards because, it brings me so much joy. When I make a card for someone I really put a lot of thought into them. I really think of the person I am making the card for. I think of their favorite colors, hobbies and likes and I hope it shows in the card.
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
As I said in the last question, I think of the person I am making the card for. Once I figure out what that person likes I look for inspiration on pinterest, other blogs and I look at my stamp sets.
I was asked to nominate 2-3 other blogs to participate in our Creative Blog Tour. I nominated Lori Johnson Apgar and Janet Royer, they will be sharing on September 15th.
