Here is the card I made for my awesome dad! My dad is someone who listens with his heart, speaks with his hugs, and teaches me not by words but by example.
I made this card with a Stampin'up's Thinlet circle card. I stamped the car, cut it out and attached it to the circle. I created the background with a stamp of a tire pattern. I then stamped the Route 66 and punched it out with a circle punch and attached it to the lower left with foam dots. I stamped the Happy father's Day on the back of the circle. The stamps are from a Tim Holtz set.
To make the star looking background I used table salt on white cardstock and ran it through the cuddlebug, wipe off the salt and use a brayer to add the black ink. The little stars are where the salt got embossed into the paper and stays white.

Here is the card I made for my husband, he loves Star Wars! This is Yoda, I hope you can tell. I saw a card like this on Pinterest for a birthday and I switched it to a Father's Day card.
To make the star looking background I used table salt on white cardstock and ran it through the cuddlebug, wipe off the salt and use a brayer to add the black ink. The little stars are where the salt got embossed into the paper and stays white.
